Today, October 26, the 43rd session of the Drohobytsk City Council began its work. The agenda of the session included many important issues related to the budget, housing and communal services, land use, etc. Consideration of these issues is important both for individual residents and for the life of the community as a whole.

We remind you that all session meetings in Drohobych are held openly and publicly, they are broadcast online, so that anyone who wants to have the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of the deputy corps and the decisions made during the work of the session.
Also, people whose questions are considered at the session have the right to register and be physically present in the hall.
Unfortunately, it is not the first time that the work of sessions in Drohobych has been obstructed – the practice of visiting session meetings by people who deliberately and purposefully commit provocative actions with the aim of disrupting the work of plenary sessions has become more frequent in the city. As a result, many decisions cannot be reviewed and approved.
Such a case happened again today. It is not the first time that one of the residents of the city allows herself to shout during the consideration of agenda items, to insult and humiliate the honor and the guest of deputies and the mayor, and to disrupt the voting procedure.
In connection with the disruption of work and the impossibility of consideration of agenda items, the work of the 43rd session had to be terminated early. Materials of hooligan acts committed during the session will be sent to the police.
Deputies will continue their work at the next plenary session.
