Lviv will help 10 more people in Malekhiv to restore windows and doors damaged by Russian “shakedowns”

Today, the executive committee of the Lviv City Council approved compensation from the city budget for 10 more households in Malekhiv that suffered from Russian “shaheds” on June 19 this year.

This will include financial assistance for the restoration of damaged windows and doors in their homes.

According to Oleksiy Nedilya, head of the city’s social protection department, 7 households in Malekhiv have already received such compensation. In particular, four were compensated for the restoration of windows (16 windows in total for a total of almost UAH 166 thousand) and three were compensated for the restoration of entrance doors (3 doors in total for a total of UAH 24 thousand).

Now, according to the decision, 48 more windows and 4 doors are to be restored for a total of UAH 528 thousand.

Note that the compensation from the city for one window is up to UAH 12 thousand, and for the front door – up to UAH 8 thousand.

As a reminder, as a result of the night attack on June 19, 2024, 1 apartment building and 15 private houses were damaged in Malekhiv, more than 100 windows were smashed and the front door was damaged.
