At the next session of the Sokal City Council, deputies considered 64 agenda items, one of the most important of which was to make changes to the indicators of the budget of the Sokal City Council for 2024. In particular:
– funds were allocated to pay off the salary deficit for teaching staff of educational institutions in the amount of 20.4 million hryvnias;
– UAH 3.1 million was allocated to the implementation of social programs. (for the payment of one-time financial assistance to wounded servicemen, for the dignified burial of Heroes and support for the families of fallen servicemen, for the support of internally displaced persons);
– according to requests, 2.5 million hryvnias were allocated to military units. for the purchase of quadcopters, drones and accessories for them.

The program for the development and maintenance of the street and road network on the territory of the Sokal city territorial community for 2024 in the amount of 2.7 million hryvnias, which will be directed to the repair of the most emergency road sections.
In addition, funds have been allocated for the capital repair of the premises, which are planned to be used for sheltering the population (shelter of the cardiology department of the “Sokalska RL” KNP) in the amount of 807.9 thousand hryvnias.
