A two-day conference dedicated to the oil and gas industry was held at the Drohobych Oil and Gas College

On 9 and 10 May, Drohobych Professional College of Oil and Gas is hosting the IX All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Oil and Gas. Science-Education-Production: Ways of Integration and Innovative Development”.

Over the course of two days, the conference participants, including many students, will discuss topical issues and problems of the Ukrainian oil and gas industry under martial law and in the post-war period, as well as the need to train qualified and competitive specialists for the industry.

Deputy Mayor for Humanitarian and Social Relations Yuriy Kushlyk arrived on behalf of the Mayor to greet the conference participants and wish them fruitful work.

I am very pleased that we continue to work on these Easter days, because all our work is aimed only at the victory and development of our country. Today’s conference topic is extremely important for everyone, and most of all for our children. The education reform, which is currently being actively developed and discussed, is precisely the stage that will be discussed at the conference. Science creates innovations, and education prepares the young people who will implement them. And production embodies everything that education and science have taught us in our lives and creates material goods that raise the economy of our country,” said Deputy Mayor Yuriy Kushlyk.

In particular, Volodymyr Kondziolka, head of the Drohobych City Institute, was invited to speak on the topic of reforming the education system and spoke about the expected results on the example of the Drohobych territorial community.
