There will be another public square in Dublyany – on St. Shevchenko. This was reported in the department of urban agglomeration.
Thus, at the last session of the Lviv City Council, a resolution was approved by which 0.619 hectares of the green area of the city of Dublyany was included in the list of public squares of the Shevchenkiv district. Even earlier, the Lviv City Council reserved this land for a public square and prepared a corresponding resolution. This was necessary in order to protect the land plot, which is located in a block of residential buildings, from possible encroachments by developers. The landscaped area is located on Shevchenko Street between residential buildings No. 23, 23-a, 25, 33.
“Lviv clearly adheres to the course of preserving green areas, creating public squares and parks in communities. In this way, the city protects green areas from buildings and creates new recreation areas in communities,” the Department of Urban Agglomeration of the LMR noted.
After the completion of all technical issues, the square will be handed over to the Shevchenko District Administration, which will deal with its arrangement.
