In the village The Soviet period monument is being dismantled by Sytykhs. The Shevchenkiv District Administration was identified as the customer of the dismantling works. The corresponding decision was approved the day before, on October 10, by the executive committee of the city council.
As noted in the department of urban agglomeration of the LMR, the monument was erected in the 1970s on the outskirts of the village of Sitikhiv without permits, does not have a balance holder and is not included in the list of monuments of urban planning architecture, history, art and archeology.
“As for the sculptural relief, the possibility of transferring it to the “Territory of Terror” museum is being considered, – added the department of the urban agglomeration of the LMR.
According to the Shevchenkiv district administration, the monument should be dismantled by the end of October.
We will remind you that earlier Soviet-era monuments were dismantled in two communities of the Lviv MTG – Vinnyky and Bryukhovychy. The sculptures were moved to the “Territory of Terror” museum.
