Construction of the Lubinske Siyivo market is underway in Lviv at the intersection of Sadova and Petliura streets. This is the first municipal market in the city to be built from scratch.
This was announced by Lubomyr Zubach, Deputy Mayor of Lviv for Urban Development.
The construction of the Lubinske Siyivo market started at the end of June. A special modern pavilion of almost 800 sq m is being built here. The new location of the “Lubinske Siyiv” market will provide space for both entrepreneurs and those who bring vegetables from nearby villages. Instead, a high-quality public space will be created where the market used to be.
“A private investor will finance all the work on the market premises and the creation of a public space, but the market will be a municipal one. Social and economic partnership is a good trend for Lviv, which we practice with responsible business,” said Liubomyr Zubach.
