In Lviv, residents of apartments flooded due to firefighting may receive UAH 15,000 in compensation from the city

The city will provide compensation to residents whose apartments were damaged by today’s rocket attack for broken windows and front doors, as well as for flooding during firefighting. The decision was approved today by the executive committee of the Lviv City Council.

“Compensation for one broken window is UAH 12 thousand, compensation for damaged front doors is UAH 8 thousand. In addition, residents of those apartments that were flooded due to firefighting can receive compensation in the amount of UAH 15,000,” said Lesya Dron, deputy head of the social protection department of the Lviv City Council.

To apply for compensation, you need to go to the ASC. In particular:

– in the Zaliznychnyi district – to the field office located at 11 Storozhenka Street;

– in Frankivsk district – to the existing ASC at 85 Gen. Chuprynky Street, 85 (in the premises of the Frankivsk District Council).

As a reminder, today at five o’clock in the morning, the enemy launched a combined attack on Lviv with rockets and shaheds. As a result of the attack, 154 houses were damaged. Residents of six houses will have to be relocated.

Seven people died, including children. Another 64 residents needed medical assistance, including 8 children. Seven patients are in critical condition.

Five educational institutions, two art centres, two medical institutions, and the Church of St George the Victorious on Chernivetska Street were destroyed.

Tomorrow, 5 September, has been declared the Day of Mourning for the victims of the Russian attack.
