Dismantling of kiosks continues in Lviv on Mykolaychuk Street

The market on Mykolaychuk Street in Lviv is being dismantled. Six stalls have already been dismantled. The dismantling of brick structures is also underway.

In total, about 60 pavilions are to be dismantled as part of the upcoming reconstruction of Mykolaychuk Street.

According to the municipal enterprise “Administrative and Technical Management”, 6 temporary structures on Mykolaychuk Street were dismantled by entrepreneurs themselves. The mayor’s office thanked the kiosk owners for their conscious position.

“The temporary structures were actually on the planned road and partially on the projected tramway. So it was decided to dismantle them. And the market entrepreneurs met the city halfway. Despite the fact that the market will be taken away, jobs will be saved. They will be moved to another location. There they will look more modern and tidy,” explained the Department of Urban Development of Lviv City Council.

As a reminder, the city plans to reconstruct Mykolaychuk Street. It is about better communication with hospitals and the UNBROKEN rehabilitation center, where our soldiers undergo treatment and rehabilitation. The project involves reconstructing the road and laying a tramway to connect the central part of the city with the Shevchenkivskyi district. The reconstruction project is being developed by the Institute of Spatial Development.
