An online map of lowered pedestrian crossings was created in Lviv

In Lviv, an online map of reduced pedestrian crossings and entrances and exits on main streets was created. You can view the map on the Geoportal of the city. This was reported in the street infrastructure department of the LMR.

“Currently, the map shows more than 2,000 crossings accessible to people with reduced mobility. Although there are more such places in the community. Overall, as of the end of 2023, 92% of pedestrian crossings and entry-exit crossings have decreased. Therefore, we will periodically update and supplement the map,” said Pavlo Syrvatka, head of the street infrastructure department of the LMR.

We will remind you that only last year in Lviv, curbs were lowered at the junction of the sidewalk and the road near pedestrian crossings in 1,237 locations.
