In Lviv, the territory of the future transport hub at the corner of Chuprinka-Bandera Street is already being paved with tiles

On the corner of St. Construction work is being completed in Chuprinka-Bandera, where a transport hub is being built. As LKP “Lvivavtodor” reported, the contracting organization “Onur” LLP is already carrying out work on paving the territory with tiles.

“On the square where the transport hub will function, the old pavement was dismantled, all communications laid there were replaced, water was connected to the drinking fountain, and concrete rings were installed under the green spaces. Work is currently underway to pave the territory of the future hub with tiles. Weather conditions allow these works to be carried out. Instead, we will install street furniture and landscaping next year,” Lvivavtodor LLP said.

We will remind you that at the intersection of St. Chuprinky – S. Bandery, the contracting organization “Onur Construction International” LLC, on the order of “Lvivavtodor” LLP, is carrying out works on the arrangement of the transport hub. The main construction works will be carried out this year, and the installation of street furniture and landscaping will be carried out next year. The cost of the work is included in the cost of reconstruction of the street. S. Bandera.

It is planned that a public space will be arranged on a small area between transport stops, where it will be possible to conveniently transfer from one type of transport to another.

On the territory of the hub there will be 30-meter wide bus stops, places for rest and bicycle and scooter rental stations. You can charge your car in parking slots nearby. The pavilions will be landscaped with climbing plants, and Callery Chanteclair pears will also be planted.

In addition, the square will have a drinking fountain, tree-trunk gratings with ground lamps for illuminating trees, bicycle racks with built-in sockets for electric bicycles, and racks for parking and charging scooters. There will also be benches of various types on the square.

The project of the transport hub was developed by LKP “Institute of Spatial Development” in cooperation with GIZ and GO “Plato”.
