Second recruitment center of the Ukrainian army opened in Lviv

Today, August 8, the second recruitment center of the Ukrainian army was opened in Lviv. It was opened in Sykhiv district at 72a Chervona Kalynya Ave.

As in the first such center on Kostya Levytskoho Street, here you can find out about vacancies in the army and choose your desired profession in the army. The center was opened in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

“The network is actively growing, this is the second center in Lviv and the 31st in Ukraine. It is not for nothing that this center is located in Sykhiv, one of the largest districts of Lviv by the number of residents, so it is as convenient as possible for people to apply. We encourage everyone to come and take an interest in the opportunities.

The people of Lviv are great, no wonder it was our joint initiative back in February this year. Recruiters have gained great experience with the support of local authorities, and this shows in the results we see. Today’s leaders are Lviv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and a number of other centers,” said Oleksii Bezhevets, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine’s recruiting commissioner.

The first recruitment center of the Ukrainian army in Ukraine was opened in Lviv in February 2024. Since then, the center’s staff has provided more than 2,200 consultations, both in person and over the phone, on the specifics and algorithms of recruitment. Contacts have also been established with more than 100 military units.

“The first and 31st recruitment center was opened in Lviv. This is a really important joint effort. If you look at the work of the first center, which was opened in the central part of the city, more than 2,000 people applied to the first recruitment center. So we see that such centers are successful.

It was no accident that we chose the second location in Sykhiv. This area is home to about 300,000 people, so this opportunity becomes even more accessible – you don’t need to go to the center, you can walk up to it and get all the information,” said Andriy Moskalenko, First Deputy Mayor of Lviv.

Currently, there are many opportunities in the Armed Forces. In particular, there are more than 10,000 vacancies in the database of recruiters at recruiting centers across Ukraine.

“There is a huge need for doctors, psychologists, mechanics, electricians, mechanics, i.e. there is a whole mosaic of vacancies, everyone can find a job. The main thing is to ask, and we will help,” added Oleksiy Bezhevets, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine’s authorized representative for recruiting.

You can come to the center and get all the information directly, or you can also contact the center by phone. Contact numbers: 098 818 53 81; 095 491 95 48.

Over the past six months, more than 30 recruiting centers have been opened across Ukraine to help citizens choose a position and choose a military unit based on their previous experience, education, personal preferences, and the needs of the Armed Forces. These centers are not affiliated with the TCC and JV structures, and the recruiters themselves are not military personnel, so they do not issue calls, but only provide advice.

In total, there are already 8 recruiting centers in Lviv, where you can find out all the latest information about vacancies in the army and talk to representatives of the brigades. These are the recruitment centers of the Azov Special Forces Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo, the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Da Vinci Wolves Battalion, the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade Kholodnyi Yar, the Unmanned Systems Forces, and two recruitment centers of the Ukrainian Army at 67 Kostya Levytskoho Street and 72a Chervona Kalynya Avenue.
