In Lviv, bus route No. 12, connecting Ryasne-2 microdistrict – Bus station No. 2, will be restored in the near future. According to the results of the competition, it will be served by a new carrier for Lviv, LLC “Epitrans”. The e-ticket system equipment has already been installed in the vehicles that will operate on the line. After setting up the system, buses will be able to leave for the route.
According to the terms of the contract, 6 transport units of the “Ataman” brand will operate on the line.
“Today, all of these buses are equipped with e-ticket system equipment. Specialists of Lvivavtodor still have to configure the system and the buses will be ready to leave the line. It is important that residents of the Ryasne microdistrict will also be able to get to the St. Panteleimon Hospital via this route.
I note that route No. 12 is provided in the city bus network, but it has not been working for a long time, because there were no people willing to service it. And now we managed to attract a carrier, so in the near future the operation of the route will be resumed”, – said Oleg Partyka, acting head of the transport department of the LMR.
Next, three more bus routes – No. 30, No. 48 and No. 57, which have also not run in recent years, will be launched in Lviv in stages. They will be serviced by the carriers “Epitrans” LLC and “Trans-City” LLC.
“We work in Kyiv, Bila Tserkva, Chernihiv, Chernivtsi, Lutsk and Lviv region. We are new carriers for Lviv. Having participated in the competition, we became winners of four lots – #12, #30, #48 and #57. Vehicles of the Euro 4 and Euro 5 class will operate on all these lines,” said Yuriy Makarchuk, a representative of the transport companies.
As Oleg Partyka specified, all four routes should be operational in Lviv by May 20 this year.
