In Lviv, houses on Stryyska Street that were destroyed by Russian missiles are being restored: one is already being reroofed

In the house on the street Stryyska Street, 68, workers are assembling the wooden frame of the future roof. These works will last at least a week.

Work is also ongoing on the other three neighboring houses. This was announced by Lviv’s Deputy Mayor for Urban Planning Lyubomyr Zubach.

“We decided that we will cover the roof of the house with tiles – this is the most suitable for the architectural monument. Before the start of these works, the frame will be covered with a special film so that it does not flow in case of rain.

On the neighboring building – the 66th building, the walls of the upper floor have been removed. It was partially destroyed by an explosion, the rest was told to be dismantled by experts.

The 64th building is the one in which all the ceilings were destroyed by a Russian missile. Formwork has already been installed here, we are starting to restore the overlap between the first and second floors.

As for the 62nd building, the designers gave an additional task regarding dismantling. A significant crack in the wall was discovered here, so it has to be taken away. At the same time, we are preparing for the installation of the roof on the same building,” said Lyubomyr Zubach, deputy mayor of Lviv for urban planning.

Also, the general contractor LKP “Rembud” has already ordered the measurements of the windows in all these four houses, so that they will be ready at the right time.
