Street Repairs in Rudno: Co-financing and Plans for 2023
Another street in Rudno will be repaired under the co-financing program. Yesterday, the residents of Vespniana Street preliminarily agreed to such cooperation during a meeting with the head of the Lviv Community Office in Rudno and representatives of the Zheleznodorozhny District Administration. A little earlier, the residents of Vuzka Street decided to repair their street under co-financing.
Plans and Terms of Co-financing
“By the end of March, we will determine the number of such roads. Generally, these are small streets. A tender will then be announced,” says the head of the office in Rudno, Natalia Ustymenko. “The co-financing program stipulates that the residents must pay 20% for the road repair. The rest of the amount is covered by the city.”
Repair of Dirt Roads in the Lviv Community
It should be noted that this year, 25 dirt roads in the Lviv community, which are in a state of disrepair, are to be repaired. These are the most demanded streets, which receive the most complaints from residents and are used by public transport. Since no budget was allocated for repairs during the full-scale invasion, these roads have become virtually impassable, especially after the rain. Thus, the agglomeration office developed a program for the repair of dirt roads, which was voted on at the Lviv City Council session. Smaller streets in the settlements can be repaired under the co-financing program.
