Two kiosks were dismantled in the center of Lviv, which prevented the reconstruction of public spaces

As reported in the city planning department of the LMR, two temporary structures were dismantled in the central part of the city: one was taken from Svobody Avenue, the other from Voloska Street.

According to the deputy mayor of Lviv for urban planning, Lyubomyr Zubach, the buildings hindered the high-quality reconstruction of the public space – the first stood on the sidewalk, and the second prevented the restoration of the stairs and the arrangement of the space near Ludkevycha Street.

“The kiosk that stood near the Theater named after Zankovetska, the owner dismantled it himself, and the pavilion on the street. Voloska had to help – it was dismantled by employees of the KP “Administrative and Technical Management”.

The next step is the arrangement of the territory after the management of the MAFs. On Voloska, this will be done by a private company that has undertaken the reconstruction of public space,” the urban planning department notes.
