The city has approved the construction of a municipal shooting range and shooting range in the village of Velyki Hrybovychi, Lviv city community. The sports complex is to become the largest in western Ukraine.
Recently, the chief architect of Lviv, Anton Kolomeytsev, announced the relevant urban planning conditions and restrictions on new construction during a meeting of the executive committee of the Lviv City Council.
“This shooting range and firing range facility was designed in accordance with the architectural competition that was held and will include a number of sports facilities for various types of training shooting,” said Anton Kolomeytsev.
Back in February, members of the city council approved a detailed plan of the territory of the future sports facility. And the executive committee gave permission to Sportresurs to develop design and estimate documentation.
The shooting range will be built according to the project by Soluk Architects, a Lviv-based company that was selected at the All-Ukrainian architectural competition.
The project envisages the construction of a large number of shooting ranges, indoor and semi-indoor shooting ranges, laser tag, an archery field, and a pistol shooting area. In addition to administrative premises, the domestic building is planned to house cafes, gun shops, shooting galleries, etc. A large car park has also been allocated.
Despite the number of facilities, the architects minimised interference with the local landscape. They also provided for the possibility of using alternative energy.
