The Ukrainian government intends to open 9 new checkpoints on the border with EU countries. In particular, in the Lviv region, the creation of five new checkpoints is being considered in the future.
This was announced by the head of the Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi.
According to the order of the Cabinet of Ministers, among the priorities is the arrangement in 2023 of the checkpoints: “Lopushanka – Mikhnovets”, “Boberka – Smolnyk” and “Mshanets – Bandruv” in the Sambir district, as well as “Varyaz – Usmez” and “Belz – Budynin” – in Chervonohradskyi,” said Kozytskyi.
In addition, the Lviv OVA submitted an appeal to the Ministry of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine to include the Ugniv – Dyniska checkpoint in the Chervonohrad district in the list of promising ones.
