According to the Department of Housing and Infrastructure of the LMR, 78 units of snow removal equipment were working in the city at night and this morning. 375 m3 of sand mixture and 75 tons of salt were used for sprinkling the streets.
“At night, 78 units of equipment left for cleaning the city from snowfall. These were 35 sand throwers, 31 tractors, 5 loaders, 1 grader and 6 sweepers. The largest number of vehicles worked in the Railway district of the city – 17 units. Bridges, intersections, large main streets were sprinkled.
It should be noted that the snow removal equipment is currently working around the clock, so the work will continue during the day. The equipment will go around the streets and, if necessary, clear or sprinkle with anti-icing materials,” the Department of Housing and Infrastructure reported.
