We invite IDPs, public organizations that help IDPs, as well as local government representatives to participate in the training “IDP Council step by step: legislative aspects of creation and functioning”.
Oksana Yakovets, regional coordinator of Stabilization Support Services, will be the coach of the event.
The training is organized by VI “Active Community” in cooperation with the Drohobytsky City Center of Social Services.
When? – October 27, 14:00 – 16:00
Where? – Svetlytsia of the Drohobytsk City Council (cabin #212)

During the training, we will learn what the main tasks of IDP councils are, about the typical provision on the establishment of IDP councils, and how the IDP council is established in the Drohobytsk community. There will also be an opportunity to discuss all issues related to this topic.
Reference: the event is held within the direction of building consensus in communities and is implemented by the Active Community from the “Republic” Institute within the framework of the “Right to Choose” project, supported by the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and funded by the United States Agency for International Development.
The goal is to establish communication and consensus for a comfortable coexistence of representatives of local self-government bodies, local citizens and internally displaced persons who have found shelter in the community.
