Support for military personnel and combatants – on October 27, within the walls of the Drohobytsk City Council, community leader Taras Kuchma, together with the head of the Department of Social Protection of the DMR population, Ivan Terletsky, presented cash certificates for the purchase of housing to four combatants from among IDPs. We are talking about Volodymyr Zhiril, Yuriy Degtyarev, Dmytro Esaulenko. Another certificate was also received by the wife of a deceased combatant from among the IDPs, Nataliya Kosenko.
The participants in the hostilities were on the apartment registration for the improvement of living conditions. Therefore, from the state budget, in accordance with the resolution of the CMU dated April 18, 2018 No. 280 “Issue of providing housing for internally displaced persons who defended the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine”, monetary compensation for the purchase of housing in the total amount of UAH 9 million was directed to them.
As the Mayor of Drohobych Taras Kuchma emphasized during the ceremony of awarding the certificates, 7 people from among the defenders have already been given the opportunity to buy new homes since the beginning of this year. On the eve of Drohobych City Day, three servicemen received cash certificates, and today, four IDPs participated in hostilities.
We are glad when the participants in hostilities who live in our community get the opportunity to buy new apartments. After all, this is an important step for such families to arrange their comfortable life in our community, plan their future and develop our city together with us. The fact that Drohobych has one of the highest indicators in the Lviv Region regarding the awarding of compensation for apartments to participants in hostilities is also pleasing. Therefore, we congratulate you on an important stage in your life and wish you all future success, Taras Kuchma emphasized.
It should be noted that since the beginning of 2023, the participants in the hostilities in the Drohobytsk community have received compensation for the purchase of housing in the total amount of UAH 14.8 million.
