In Drohobych, the second project within the framework of the “Energodom” program of the State University of Energy Efficiency Fund was completed. Thanks to the activity of residents and supporters of the city council, another residential high-rise building in Drohobych has been thermally modernized.
The implemented project was reported in the CU “Institute of the City of Drohobych”.
The five-story building that took part in the project is part of the Solomiya condominium and is located on Hrushevsky Street. Within the framework of the project, the following was carried out in the building:
– thermal insulation of external walls,
– replacement of window blocks in common areas,
– arrangement of vestibules of the external entrance (vestibular doors),
– heat insulation of the attic.
Thanks to the implemented measures, the energy efficiency class of the building changed from level G to level D, and the specific emissions of greenhouse gases decreased from 68.7 kg/m2 to 38 kg/m2.
The cost of implementing energy-efficient measures in the building is UAH 6.85 million. Of these, the contribution of condominiums is UAH 1.37 million.
“I would like to note that this money was collected by people themselves, without the involvement of external financing, such as a loan or credit. Therefore, I would like to thank everyone who supported the implementation of this project in such a difficult time for Ukraine,” said Taras Perhun.
The project was successfully implemented thanks to the specialists of the Energy Efficiency Fund, who provided professional advice and information support, the leadership of the Drohobych community and the deputy corps, who supported the Tepl Osel city target program, within which the condominium received co-financing in the amount of 10% for implemented energy efficiency measures, the chairman of the board of the Solomiya condominium -2016 and the chief accountant for the titanic work carried out with the residents, the specialists of the CU “Institute of the City of Drohobych” for their expert and constant support, the regional advisors of the IFC Energy Efficiency Fund Support Program Galina Kogut and Andriy Yakubovskyi, who daily supported and encouraged the implementation of the project.
