An extraordinary meeting of the Executive Committee was held on Friday, 4 October. The members of the executive committee agreed on several urgent decisions, including amendments to the budget, heat consumption rates and the heat tariff, which will not be applied during the martial law period and for another six months after its end.
They also agreed on the decision to register the population in the hromada, carried out by means of the approved methodology for calculating the population size. According to Volodymyr Kondziolka, head of the Drohobych City Institute, the data will form the basis of an appeal to the Cabinet of Ministers to amend the formula for financing the hromada’s educational sector.
An important decision was made to restore morning street lighting at the request of the community residents. According to the decision, street lighting in the entire community will start at 05:00 am. The sensors will be switched off automatically after daylight hours.
According to Volodymyr Suda, director of SMU, starting today, the company’s specialists will visit all substations in the community to adjust the time of street lighting, which will take several days to complete.
In the evening, street lighting starts after daylight hours and continues until midnight.
