More than 700 more kamikaze drones sent to the front line from Lviv region

As part of the Birds of Victory project, another delivery of drones to the frontline was made from Lviv region. This time, it was 730 drones. The project was launched in March last year, and as of today, we have managed to assemble and send exactly 9,000 drones to the frontline.

So this time, the drones include kamikaze drones and MAVIC drones in various configurations. The drones were purchased with funds raised by the Birds of Victory team at charity auctions, various forums, etc. In particular, 2.5 million was raised at an auction in Warsaw. Another 8 million was raised at an auction in Pidhirtsi Castle. The event was organised jointly with the KAVA Charitable Foundation and four communities in the Lviv region: Buska, Brody, Zolochiv and Zabolotsiv.

During the transfer, the head of the NGO Dobro.Diy, Ihor Dulin, noted that from now on, 20% of the proceeds from all future auctions will be directed to the Superhumans Centre for Rehabilitation and Prosthetics;

“The more drones we have, the more enemies we destroy. Many thanks to every donor who joined the Victory Birds initiative. When we started this project, we dreamed of delivering a thousand drones, and very soon this figure will cross the 10,000 mark, all thanks to the concern of our communities, volunteers, and benefactors. We are doing everything possible to ensure that our soldiers have a sufficient number of drones, because this is equivalent to the number of human lives saved,” said Maksym Kozytskyi, head of the Lviv Regional Military Academy.

The project’s regular partners and hieromonk Makariy Dutka, who has already raised UAH 2 million for the needs of the Royal 24th Brigade and continues to volunteer, joined the fundraising;

All drones will be distributed among the soldiers: The 80th separate air assault brigade, the 24th separate mechanised brigade named after King Danylo, the 93rd separate mechanised brigade “Kholodnyi Yar”, the 68th separate ranger brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush. King Danylo, 93rd separate mechanised brigade “Kholodnyi Yar”, 68th separate hunting brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush, 77th separate airmobile brigade, 3rd separate assault brigade, Foreign Legion, 7th Carpathian border detachment, 3rd border detachment named after the Hero of Ukraine Colonel Yevhen Pikus, 420th separate rifle battalion, Ukrainian Volunteer Army, special forces of the Security Service of Ukraine, GUR, and Special Forces.

The following battalions will receive 100 FPV drones: the Achilles strike battalion of the 92nd Separate Mechanised Brigade and the RAROG battalion of the 24th Separate Mechanised Brigade.
