It is tentatively planned that entrants will take a single test that will include test questions in three subjects. And this procedure will be the only one for admission to all specialties. The final procedure must be determined and approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.<\/p>\n
Oleh Paska, Director of the Department of Education and Science of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, spoke about this during a briefing.<\/p>\n
“The Ministry of Education and Science has proposed a good mechanism for external independent evaluation. These will be tests in three subjects: Ukrainian language (20 questions), history of Ukraine (20 questions) and mathematics (20 questions). From next week, the department’s task, together with the Lviv Regional Center for Educational Quality Assessment, will find schools (about a hundred schools) where children will take tests. In the current conditions, as an exception, such a mechanism of admission to higher education institutions is, in our opinion, good, “said Oleg Paska.<\/p>\n
According to him, this is a preliminary mechanism. Testing is planned for July. Registration will be announced to participate in the testing. Students who have previously registered for the external evaluation will also be able to take part in the testing.<\/p>\n
It should be added that testing is required for those who want to study on a budget form of education. To enter the paid form it is enough to write a motivation letter.<\/p>\n
Oleg Paska also stressed that the final procedure for the external evaluation should be approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.<\/p>\n
