Tyson Bear, for example, is a permanent resident. For sixteen long years, the clubfoot suffered in a dilapidated cage on the territory of a remote hunting station in western Ukraine. Tyson was brutally taken from his mother by bears and illegally used to harass dogs. Since 2017, he has been at the Domazhyr Bear Shelter, where he has slowly learned to trust people. He likes to explore the space in his pond, eat nuts, pears and apples.<\/p>\n
Tyson is confident, balanced, and has a girlfriend, Mashutka the bear, who has also been bullied by dogs at a hunting station for 12 years. 5 years ago Mashutka’s life changed forever. She is very active and likes to dig the ground in the aviary shared with Tyson.<\/p>\n
The shelter for the rescued brown bears is located only in<\/p>\n
15 km from Lviv. The staff of the rehabilitation center invites guests, but due to the situation in the country, they work only by appointment and with a limited number of visitors on site.<\/p>\n
