According to the investigation, the official allowed the university’s arbitrary use of water resources, which belong to the subsoil of national importance. As a result, the environment was damaged in the amount of UAH 2.62 million.<\/p>\n
Investigations are ongoing. The pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings is carried out by the investigative department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Lviv region based on the materials of the SBU Department in the Lviv region.<\/p>\n
Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.<\/p>\n
