Lviv Oblast was represented at the competition by athletes and coaches of the Lviv Regional Center for Olympic Training in Winter Sports. Yuliya Horodna became the champion in the sprint and the pursuit race and the vice-champion in the super-sprint. Olena Horodna won bronze awards in the sprint and pursuit races and took sixth place in the super sprint.<\/p>\n
Other representatives of the national team of the Lviv Region Yuliana Teikalo, Viktoriya Yasenych and Taras Bardadyn also showed high results. In the overall team competition, the national team of the Lviv region, coached by Andriy Ivashchyny, Roman Polyuga and Oleg Patlasov, took second place. Biathletes from Sumy region won the competition, athletes from Ternopil region won bronze.<\/p>\n
