Separate sections of the path, the so-called “recesses”, were filled with natural materials of various textures: pebbles, straw, mulch, sand, pine branches, chestnuts.<\/p>\n
“It is worth walking along such a path barefoot in order to get to know the natural world through tactile sensations. Such an exercise has a positive effect on the development of the foot, its correct formation, helps to strengthen immunity, and also stimulates nerve endings that are responsible for a person’s mood”, – comments the idea of \u200b\u200bco-coordinator of the action Angelika Cuckoo.<\/p>\n
Most of the object is made from the remains of wood that remained after maintenance work on the space. In addition to the main goal, in this way conscious resource consumption is popularized among the citizens.<\/p>\n
The organizers note that they have long dreamed of creating a sensory path in the space and are convinced that it will successfully complement his idea, in particular, it will become an important decision for the organization of horticultural therapy classes. Also, in this way, they expect to attract parents with children to the space.<\/p>\n

The urban horticulture space “Rossadnyk” is being developed by public associations “Plato”, “Ecoterra”, “Permaculture in Ukraine” with the support of the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Lviv City Council, LKP “Zelenyi Lviv” and caring residents from April 2021.
