On September 22, while working out the service area, law enforcement officers found a man behaving suspiciously in one of the city’s parks. During a cursory examination, 42 packages with a substance similar to “amphetamine” were found in his possession, and it was also established that the attacker managed to make 6 bookmarks.<\/p>\n
Law enforcement officers identified the man – a 26-year-old resident of Lviv. During an emergency search of his residence, the police found and seized a bag weighing about 400 grams with a white powdery substance, outwardly similar to the psychotropic substance “amphetamine”, a zip-top bag with a substance of plant origin similar to “cannabis”, packaged packages with narcotic and psychotropic substances ready for distribution, as well as electronic scales and other material evidence.<\/p>\n
Everything removed is directed to expert research.<\/p>\n
The issue of notifying the perpetrator of a suspected criminal offense under Part 3 of Article 307 (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, forwarding or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is resolved. The sanction of the article envisages punishment – deprivation of liberty for a term of nine to twelve years with confiscation of property.<\/p>\n
The pre-trial investigation continues, according to the court’s decision, the perpetrator is in custody without bail.<\/p>\n
Law enforcement officers establish the channels of entry of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, as well as other persons involved in the commission of a crime.<\/p>\n
