The author’s mother, Valentina Matviyev, presented the book of her son to the guests. She became the compiler and editor of the book.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Valentina spoke about the long and troublesome path of the book from conception to its publication. And she also informed that the work on the second volume is ongoing.<\/p>\n
The presentations were attended by Taras Matviyev’s friends and relatives, volunteers, clergy, caring residents and guests of the Zhydachiv region, who came from different cities of Ukraine to honor the author and share with his parents the joy of the release of his son’s book.<\/p>\n
Poems of Taras Matviyev were read by friends and comrades during the Revolution of Dignity and the Russian-Ukrainian war. His poems from the frontline, recorded on video by Tarasov’s brothers, who are now defending Ukraine on various front lines, sounded especially moving.<\/p>\n
Musical accompaniment added a special atmosphere at the meetings. Thus, in the Kokhavyn Shrine, listeners had a unique opportunity to listen to a virtuoso performance of classical works by the academic chamber orchestra “Harmonia Nobile” of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Philharmonic. And in the Zhydachiv city public library, there was music that was presented to the guests by the teachers of the Zhydachiv art school.<\/p>\n
After the presentations, the guests had the opportunity to purchase Taras Matviyev’s book autographed by his parents. In this way, the first creation of the Hero of Ukraine spread around the world with his thoughts, which became immortal thanks to the hard work of his parents Valentina and Taras Matviivykh. They made their son’s second dream “Publish a book…” come true instead of him. After all, his first dream was “Victory: Crimea and Donbas”…<\/p>\n
We will remind you that this year, for the first time, a competition of journalistic works named after the Hero of Ukraine Taras Matviyev was held, which was initiated by Lviv OVA. The winners were Oksana Dudar and Ksenia Klym.<\/p>\n
