As of now, work on the installation of the lower layer of asphalt concrete road surface with preliminary strengthening of the base is already being completed.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;More than 17 kilometers of the upper layer of asphalt concrete were laid, 6.5 kilometers of sidewalks within the population centers and 7 bridge crossings were repaired. I emphasize once again that high-quality transport connections and proper border road infrastructure with the countries of the European Union are the key to the economic and food security of our country,&#8221; said the head of the Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi.<\/p>\n<p>The works are carried out by Ukravtodor in cooperation with the contracting organization DROG-BUD Sp. z o. o.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;The key to the economic and food security of our country, especially in times of war, is high-quality transport connections and proper border road infrastructure with the countries of the European Union. Accordingly, this year we pay special attention to border roads and customs crossings.
