Today, October 30, in Pobuzhany, Zolochiv District, Lviv Region, a solemn reburial of the found remains of soldiers of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army took place. Search expeditions and exhumation were carried out by specialists of the Municipal Enterprise of the Lviv Regional Council “Dolya”.<\/h2>\n

As the head of the Commission for Culture, Information Policy and Promotion of the Lviv Regional Council, Sviatoslav Sheremeta, told, the bodies of three Ukrainian soldiers were reburied at the village cemetery of Pobuzhan. “These people gave their lives for our independence. The current fighters for Ukraine were brought up by their example.<\/p>\n

Those boys and girls who today defend not only our state, but also the entire civilized world from the Russian invader know about the struggle of the Ukrainian insurgent army, the Ukrainian Galician army, the army of the Ukrainian People’s Republic, the Sich Riflemen, and the Cossacks. Today’s event proves to us that no matter how many years pass, the Ukrainian state remembers and will always remember and honor its Heroes. We return the names of our Heroes and can bury them according to Christian customs and with all military honors. Glory to our Heroes and Glory to Ukraine,” noted Svyatoslav Sheremeta.<\/p>\n

According to him, the remains were found in the vicinity of Pobuzhany, all the necessary anthropological studies were taken, and the material for DNA examination was selected.<\/p>\n

“This is necessary so that if one of the relatives volunteers and declares family ties, then we will be able to identify the identity of the deceased.
