The Stryi district prosecutor’s office ensured the execution of a court decision to recover more than UAH 850,000 from the former traumatologist of the Stryi Central District Hospital.<\/p>\n
In April 2019, the Stryiskyi City and District Court collected from the Stryiskyi District Hospital more than UAH 850,000 in compensation for material and moral damage caused to the family of a patient who died due to the improper performance of his official duties by the doctor of the medical facility.<\/p>\n
Subsequently, the Stryi district prosecutor’s office appealed to the court in the interests of the Stryi district council and the district hospital to recover from the doctor the funds paid by the hospital at the expense of the local budget. The court satisfied the claim of the prosecutor’s office.<\/p>\n
A court decision to collect the specified amount from the doctor was passed at the beginning of last year, but the defendant was in no hurry to comply with it. At this time, the state executor issued a resolution on the end of the proceedings – in connection with the full implementation of the court’s decision.<\/p>\n
Therefore, the local budget of the city of Stryi was returned the funds that the hospital paid as compensation to the family of a man who died as a result of the actions of its employee while performing official duties, in compliance with the decision of the Stryi City District Court.<\/p>\n
