Today, November 17, the deputy head of the Lviv OVA Yuriy Buchko held a meeting with the road management department of the Lviv OVA, the service of highways in the Lviv region and contractor organizations that will carry out operational maintenance of highways in the winter period.<\/p>\n
“Lviv region is an important transit region, the main transport routes to the EU countries pass through its roads. Our priority tasks are keeping the roads in good condition during the winter period and regulating safe passage in the conditions of martial law. Let me remind you that 1,890.3 km of state roads and 6,524.3 km of local roads pass through the territory of Lviv Oblast. Their maintenance in the winter period will be carried out by 8 contracting organizations, which will involve 390 units of equipment,” Yuriy Buchko emphasized.<\/p>\n
The meeting discussed:<\/p>\n
the issue of the readiness of contracting organizations for the operational maintenance of roads in the winter period,
\nstate of preparation of bulk materials,
\nthe importance of priority cleaning of roads of state and local importance.<\/p>\n
Yuriy Buchko also emphasized that due to limited financial resources and the high cost of operational maintenance (compared to 2021, the cost of maintaining one conventional kilometer has increased three times), the complex of winter maintenance of all roads in the region will not be easy to complete.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
