As the law enforcement officers established, a 20-year-old and a 45-year-old resident of the Kharkiv region, as well as a 49-year-old resident of the city of Dnipro, falsified the identity card of a conscript, entering into them unreliable information about declaring them unfit for military service with exclusion from military registration.<\/p>\n

Investigators of police department No. 1 of the Yavoriv district police department, under the procedural guidance of the Yavoriv district prosecutor’s office, informed all three perpetrators of the suspicion of criminal misdemeanors, provided for in part 1 and part 4 of article 358 (Forgery and use of a knowingly forged document) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine . The maximum punishment provided by the sanctions of the articles is restriction of freedom for a period of up to two years.<\/p>\n
Pre-trial investigations have been completed, indictments have been sent to the court for consideration.<\/p>\n

In total, during the period of the legal regime of martial law, police investigators of the Lviv region opened 1,240 criminal proceedings on the facts of forgery and the use of forged documents to cross the state border of Ukraine in order to evade mobilization and military service. 803 persons were notified of the suspicion. In 444 criminal proceedings, pre-trial investigations have been completed, indictments have been referred to the court.<\/p>\n
