On the occasion of its opening, choristers from the Lviv Municipal Men&#8217;s Choir &#8220;Homin&#8221; and music school No. 8 sang several carols.<\/h2>\n<p>Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy and his wife Kateryna Kit-Sadova also joined the opening of the shop.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I want to wish everyone a very special Christmas today. Jesus was probably also born in the same conditions in which Ukrainians often live now &#8211; without light, without heat. But in reality, it was such a great love.<\/p>\n<p>This is a special year for our country. A country born in torment, in struggle, in suffering, but it is born a strong, beautiful Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>I would really like for us today to mentally remember all our family, friends, and acquaintances who will not be with us on those days. We love you all. We love all Ukrainians, we love all people of goodwill who are with us. Christ is born! Glory to Ukraine!&#8221; said the mayor of Lviv.<\/p>\n<p>We will remind you that a manger is a type of nativity scene, mainly a model depicting the Bethlehem stable on the night of Christ&#8217;s birth. Setting up a Christmas tree is one of the most common European traditions on Christmas Eve.<\/p>\n<p>In recent years, in Lviv, a shop has been installed near the Town Hall by Anton Lubiy, a master woodworker and soloist of the band &#8220;Yoriy Klyots&#8221;. The scene of the shop consists of five two-meter figures carved from poplar and painted by children.
