“At first glance, the work on the gate looked simple. But, in fact, the door leaf had significant damage. The holes from the old locks remained here, the original glazing and authentic latches were lost. All this had to be corrected,” said master restorer Nazar Tymnyak.<\/p>\n
Specialists renewed the baseboards, and also replaced the old, damaged fake slats with new ones made according to the historical model.<\/p>\n
“The cost of restoration works is about UAH 42,340. The residents’ contribution amounted to UAH 12,702, the rest of the amount was co-financed by the city,” said Pavlo Bogajchyk, director of the “Heritage Bureau” LCP.<\/p>\n
