Healthcare institutions of all levels are paid for medical services by the National Health Service of Ukraine from the state budget<\/p>\n
Local budgets finance energy carriers and services that are included in the medical guarantee program, but are not provided with a financial resource.<\/p>\n
This year, 1.370 billion hryvnias have already been allocated to the medical sector from the local budgets of the region, of which 737 million hryvnias are for regional institutions.<\/p>\n
Within the framework of the implementation of the program of support for the health care sector from the regional budget:<\/p>\n
UAH 40.7 million was allocated for the provision of medical drugs for disabled children,<\/p>\n
for the prevention of HIV infection and AIDS – 3 million hryvnias,<\/p>\n
for the improvement of medical care for cancer patients – UAH 13.2 million,<\/p>\n
to improve medical care for patients with multiple sclerosis and severe forms of arthritis – UAH 12.9 million,<\/p>\n
provision of emergency cardiovascular surgery – UAH 3.2 million,<\/p>\n
provision of specialized medical care to persons who suffered during the Revolution of Dignity and
\nanti-terrorist operation – UAH 5.6 million,<\/p>\n
treatment of other diseases \u2013 UAH 8.1 million,
\nequipping healthcare institutions with highly specialized medical equipment and apparatus – 102.7 million hryvnias.<\/p>\n
The use of the above-mentioned funds makes it possible to ensure the continuity of the provision of necessary medical services to the population of the region.<\/p>\n
