“According to the procedure, the project documentation must be approved by the Lviv Regional Military Administration. We did it. Then there is the requirement that the project, worth more than UAH 120 million, must be approved by the executive committee. The procedure is quite voluminous in terms of preparation of relevant documents agreed at all levels. We are going through it gradually in order to successfully complete the procurement and implementation of this project,” explained Oleg Zabarilo, director of the Department of Urban Mobility and Street Infrastructure of the LMR.<\/p>\n
We will remind you that earlier in Lviv a tender was announced for the reconstruction of the contact trolleybus network on the sections of three streets: Stryyska (from Franka St. to Naukova St.), Zelenia (from Lypova Aleya St. to Luhanska St.), Trolleybusny (from Volodymyr Veliky St. to Naukova street), and the construction of a feeder line from substation No. 6 to Sq. Mytnoi and st. Lychakivska.<\/p>\n
As the transport department of the LMR added, these works involve the replacement of the entire associated infrastructure with the use of modern special parts of European production. Trolleybuses will be able to “pass” curves and intersections at intersections without reducing speed.
