In Lviv, video surveillance was installed on the premises of five condominiums. In total, 79 video cameras were installed near high-rise buildings. The work was carried out within the framework of the city program “Safety of Residential Quarters”. The program involves co-financing: the purchase of equipment and its installation were paid equally by the city and residents – 50\/50.<\/p>\n
As noted in the city security department, during the selection of locations, preference was given to those houses located near critical infrastructure. And also the territories that need to be made safer. “We made the final decision together with the police. Also, the building must be located within the existing network of the city-wide video surveillance system,” the LMR security department added.<\/p>\n
In addition, the day before, 50 video cameras were installed in the park “Horikhovy Gai” and 12 – in Pidbirtsy. Previously, 26 video surveillance cameras were installed in market areas.<\/p>\n
