The Hero’s funeral will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Garrison Church of Sts. App. Peter and Paul, at 11:30 a.m. – a city farewell ceremony on Rynok Square.<\/p>\n
The soldier will be buried at the Lychakiv cemetery.<\/p>\n

Biographical reference of the Hero
\nTaras Makovetskyi (21.07.1970-30.12.2022). A native of Lviv.<\/p>\n

Studied at Lyceum No. 18 of the Lviv City Council. In 1990, he graduated from the Automotive and Road Professional College of the National University “Lviv Polytechnic”, obtained the qualification of “technician-mechanic”.<\/p>\n
He worked at a vehicle maintenance station, later held the position of a forklift driver abroad.<\/p>\n
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he returned to Ukraine and voluntarily joined the ranks of the territorial defense. He fought against the Russian invaders in the ranks of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade of the operational command “West” of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
