As of now, 43% of the lands of state forest farms have been inventoried in the region.<\/p>\n
Today, January 4, employees of the Department of Architecture and Urban Development of Lviv Regional Government held a working meeting with representatives of forestry. Among the issues that were discussed was the need to continue the inventory of forestry lands.<\/p>\n
“In general, we have more than 482,000 hectares of forestry land in the region, which are state property. 207 thousand have already been inventoried. In particular, last year it was possible to treat almost 118 thousand hectares. Thanks to the inventory, our foresters will be able to manage forestry more rationally and efficiently, as well as carry out strategic planning for the development of forest farms for the future,” said Olena Vasylko, director of the department of architecture and urban development of the Lviv OVA.<\/p>\n
