The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Garrison Church of Sts. App. Peter and Paul, at 2:30 p.m. a city farewell ceremony will be held on Rynok Square. The Hero will be buried at the Lychakiv cemetery.<\/p>\n

Biographical reference of the Hero<\/p>\n
Ruslan Zastavny (November 27, 1979-February 2, 2023). A native of Lviv.
\nStudied at Secondary Secondary School No. 90 of the city of Lviv. He graduated from the State Vocational and Technical Educational Institution “Lviv Vocational Polytechnic Lyceum” (then Vocational and Technical School No. 33 of the city of Lviv).<\/p>\n
In peacetime, he worked as a truck driver in Europe. Actively engaged in sports, constantly improving his physical form. Studied spiritual literature.<\/p>\n
With the beginning of a full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he voluntarily enrolled in the ranks of territorial defense. Performed combat tasks to protect the territorial integrity and independence of the state as part of the 125th separate territorial defense brigade of the “West” Regional Directorate of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He fought against the occupiers on the territory of Kharkiv region and Donetsk region.<\/p>\n
Ruslan Zastavny is survived by his mother, wife, two sons, a brother, his wife’s parents and goddaughters.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
