Owners of transport cards apply them to the mobile validator and the device shows whether the card has been validated or not – a green “tick” or a red “cross” lights up, respectively.<\/p>\n
“So far, Lvivavtodor LKP controllers are conducting explanatory work and no one is being fined, but very soon, at the stage of practical payment with a general LeoKart or bank card, a fine will have to be paid for an unvalidated preferential LeoKart. Therefore, we strongly urge all LeoKart owners not to forget to validate themselves when entering public transport and to get into this habit. “Why do we need control now? The 1st stage of the e-ticket called “Education of the beneficiary” has been going on for more than a year, during this time employees of the control department helped beneficiaries to validate and advised them about ASOP. In this way, more than 90,000 beneficiaries were taught how to use cards during the year. We want all our beneficiaries to get used to validation and control before starting practical payment for travel. It is also very important for us to have accurate figures regarding the number of validations, because objective information will allow us to understand the volumes of passenger flows and validations.
