Taking care of health, both physical and mental, is one of the priorities of Lviv OVA for 2023. Therefore, the regional military administration urges residents of the region to undergo a preventive medical examination.<\/p>\n
They supported this idea with their own example. More than 200 employees of Lviv OVA have already volunteered to undergo the examination. Under the direction of the family doctor, they will be provided with a number of services – from blood tests to ultrasound.<\/p>\n
“As a doctor in the past, I understand that the best treatment is prevention. Therefore, we have an ambitious goal – to motivate the residents of the region to be more attentive to their health. We decided to spread this initiative among the workers of the Lviv OVA as well, since with the start of a full-scale war, they have a much greater workload, and therefore much more health risks. And only those people who take care of their health and their mental resources can be able to work and continue to work effectively for the benefit of the residents of the region,” said Iryna Shurpyak, head of the apparatus of the Lviv OVA.<\/p>\n
In Lviv OVA, residents of the region are encouraged to undergo a preventive medical examination at least once a year.<\/p>\n
It is worth starting with basic examinations:<\/p>\n
– General blood analysis<\/p>\n
– Biochemical analysis of blood<\/p>\n
– Coagulogram<\/p>\n
– ECG<\/p>\n
– Ultrasound of internal organs<\/p>\n
– Ultrasound of the thyroid gland<\/p>\n
– Cardiologist consultation<\/p>\n
– Consultation of a therapist<\/p>\n
– Ultrasound of mammary glands<\/p>\n
– X-ray of the chest<\/p>\n
– Consultation of a gynecologist<\/p>\n
– Mammography (women aged 40+)<\/p>\n
– Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) (men aged 40+).<\/p>\n
According to the package of the National Health Service of Ukraine, these examinations under the direction of a family doctor are free. Referrals for medical procedures can be obtained from a general practitioner – your family doctor.<\/p>\n
