The damaged sculptures of the “Ivasyk-Telesyk” fountain will be restored in Stryi Park. One swan sculpture will have to be made anew, the damaged parts of others will be replaced. The manager of the park, Olena Mazuryk, told about it.<\/p>\n
“Last year, the water feature, which is more than half a century old, was damaged by visitors when they tried to take pictures. The damage was significant. One swan sculpture will have to be cast from scratch. For others, new parts will be made instead of damaged ones,” said Olena Mazuryk.<\/p>\n
The craftsmen have already assessed the scale of the work and taken measurements of the broken sculptures. Work on the production of elements and a new sculpture will last about a month.<\/p>\n
“When the sculpture and parts are ready, they will be brought to the park and installed on the day of dismantling the damaged ones. After that, we will restore the fountain,” Olena Mazuryk added.<\/p>\n
The estimated cost of the works is about UAH 200,000. Services will be paid for by Stryi Park.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
