Why the Lemki pysanka? Since ancient times, the Lemka people inhabited the western slopes of the Carpathians, where their unique culture was created. It is significantly different from the Easter cards of other regions of Ukraine and has its own symbolism: the sun is a symbol of life and light, a star is the daughter of the sun, swallows and trees are harbingers of spring.<\/p>\n
At the workshop in the Hotkevich Palace, visitors can expect:<\/p>\n
\u00b7 choosing a drawing sketch for an Easter egg;<\/p>\n
\u00b7 creating a picture with a heated pen with beeswax;<\/p>\n
\u00b7 coloring Easter eggs in the desired colors (and there will be many to choose from).<\/p>\n
