From January to March 2023, polluting enterprises of the Lviv region paid 33.8 million hryvnias of environmental tax to the country’s budget. This is 7 million hryvnias more than in the same period last year. Of these, 10 million hryvnias are allocated to the special fund of the regional budget – the regional environmental protection fund.<\/p>\n
In total, approximately 7,000 business entities – legal entities and individuals – pay environmental tax in the territory of Lviv region.<\/p>\n
We remind you that the environmental tax is a state-wide mandatory payment, which is made from the actual volumes of emissions into the atmospheric air, discharges of pollutants into water bodies, disposal of waste, the actual volume of radioactive waste temporarily stored by their producers, the actual volume of radioactive waste generated waste and from the actual volume of radioactive waste accumulated by April 1, 2009.<\/p>\n
