”Driver’s school” of LLP “Lvivelectrotrans” is launching a permanent recruitment for free training in “Tram\/trolleybus driver” specialties. Previously, such training was conducted twice a year for each of the categories. After successful training, drivers are guaranteed official employment, a social package and a stable salary.<\/p>\n
“Today, we acutely feel the need for qualified personnel, in particular, in the trolleybus depot. Ready to teach, we have excellent teachers-instructors. Training lasts only three months: two – theory, one – practice. Practical classes take place on all routes and on all brands of trolleybuses and trams. Our graduates receive a driver’s license with the appropriate category, with which they can train already on the route with passengers. And, of course, the biggest bonus, after successful training, is guaranteed employment, a social package and a stable salary,” says Hryhoriy Varkhov, director of the Training and Course Combine of LLP “Lvivelectrotrans”.<\/p>\n
The utility company adds that training groups are still being formed. Yes, two places remain vacant today for those who want to drive a tram. On the other hand, there are many times more vacancies in the “Trolleybus Driver” group.<\/p>\n
By the way, according to 2022 data, the average salary of a trolleybus driver in Lviv was UAH 21,000, and a tram driver was UAH 19,000.<\/p>\n
